What objects do humans often use that are made from natural resources?
Lots of everyday objects are made from natural resources. Continue reading and you will find a list of these objects and how they are used.
One obvious object is paper. You are probably thinking, "Paper is made of trees, duh. There is no need for its own paragraph on that." Wrong. True, paper is made from trees (or other fiberous materials), but there are more objects that it is made of.
In the first step of the process paper is made in, trees are harvested, chipped, and put in a solution made of water, sodium sulfide, and "caustic soda", also known as sodium hydroxide. Sodium hyroxide is a chemical made from natural materials, so it is not an inorgainc chemical.
Paper is white, commonly. So that means it probably was treated with chlorine (which is made by running elcectricity through salt water), chlorine dioxide, or a different combination of ozone and hydrogen prioxide.
So thhat combination of water, sodium sulfide, and caustic soda (white liqour) is recycled inside a papermill. It uses lime (clacium oxide made from limestone) and small quantities of white liqour to reconstruct the needed properties.
So what is paper made of? Trees is the largest quantity but the full list is
There are plenty of cool things you can make with paper too. Look below.

- trees
- water
- salt water
- coal
- mirabilite
- maybe 2-alkyl anthrahydroquinone (what I found when I tried searching how hydrogen prioxide is made)

So paper isn't as natural as most of us thought. Click HERE to see how paper is made. It might be a little different, but there are different ways to make paper with different materials.
Another object is eyeglass frames. They are commonly made of metal or a type of plastic made of cotton called cellulose-acetate. They also have aluminum.

There are plenty of other items such as some furniture (made of wood), bicylces, ssome car parts, and foil (aluminum).
